Art Explorers: Introductory Visual Arts Course for Children (Ages 7-10) -With Eduardo Arias Cruz
Ends: Saturday, April 5th, 2025 — 11:30am
Saturday Mornings: March 15th, 22nd, + 29th, April 5th
Over this 4-Week course your child will explore the visual arts through 4 essential classes. They will learn: basic forms of artistic expression, how to use, and become familiar with a variety of materials.
This course is aimed at children with little or no experience in visual arts. Each week a new type of media will be introduced, offering much exploration for the students. We will start with graphite and color pencil, then move to watercolor. Next will be acrylic, and lastly, 3-D papercraft modeling. The classes will be easy to learn through entertaining dynamics that will help the development of skills such as spatial (visual) intelligence, self-understanding, and cognitive and psychomotor skills. Your child will make friends while learning and expressing themselves. All materials included in registration.
