2025 Wall Calendar - Fleeting Forms: The Land Art of James Brunt

An admiration for the outdoors and the beauty of his homeland led British artist James Brunt to his signature style of meticulously arranged mandalas and other land art forms. The delicate placement of each stone, twig, or leaf is an immaculate balance of levity and gravity, a precious installment created with found objects and natural materials. Imagine the delight of stumbling upon one while on a hike or during a day at the beach! Replicating the geometric with the natural, his creations remind us of the temporal reality of our time on Earth. As the year passes, ponder the peaceful macrocosms of each of these 12 ephemeral art pieces washing away in the tide or blowing apart with the wind.
